Help me decide
k..people.... I am having trouble deciding what to do next... I have a JDM H22 in my 94 teg with clutch, chipped ecu, headers, suspension, brakes and some diy mods done... I was going to turbo it but with so many honda's getting stolen i am having second thoughts...
I was planning to do this:
STR Intake Manifold
720cc Injectors
Walbro Fuel Pump
Inlinepro head gasket
Clutchmasters Flywheel
Uberteg ECU
LoveFab Manifold
Tial Wastegate
Turbo XS RFL BOV
Precision sc61
Spearco FMIC
Apexi AVC-R
Was planning to run 9psi on the street and 12psi at the track on race gas... Hoping to hit really low 12's or high 11's on slicks....
I have the opportunity to sell my car for a pretty decent amount... If I do this I want to get a 90-94 300zx twin turbo and just do BPU mods...no turbo upgrades or anything....
Basically I just want a low 12 to high 11 second car on slicks but I dont know if I will miss my integra once I get rid of it...
Should I keep the integra and turbo it or get a BPU 300zx?

this has to be decided by you. Those are two totally different cars so it depends on how and what you like to drive. The most obvious question would be do you prefer FF or FR? and go from there.

i know it has to be made by me...but i want people to list the pro's and cons of each setup... .i have never driven a 300zx b4 so i wouldnt have anything to comapre with... The two pros i could think of with 300zx is rwd, factory turbo...need inputs please
300zx all the way. Nissan builds really strong motors. Nissan doesn't really have any "slow" cars, they might not all be blistering fast, but they all have got good amounts of power. Especially the turbo ZX. It is certainly a conteder with the Supra, Rx-7, 3000GT VR4. And is definitely tunable.

300zx is a sled, gotta make lots of power to get it going, and on top of that, everything you can possibly do to them is a bitch to get done, not enough room to do ****. Can't even hang turbos without pulling the engine.
A friend of mine is working on a 300zx right now for his sister. He's pulled the motor out and taken everything apart. He said it is a nightmare to work on, and definitaly not on his top list of cars that are mechanic freindly.
Like people were saying before, if you wanna upgrade the turbo's on the car. You gotta pull the whole motor out. If you honestly wanna go FR, get yourself a nice 240SX, do the SR swap and you'll be good to go. The friend that is working on the 300zx did a 240 SR swap and he is having a great time. Good motors, and they have lots of potential.
