Help with installing a ebay turbo timer on ef civic!!!!
Can anyone help me, I bought a ebay turbo timer and having issues with installing it...there are 5 wires to connect, one is for parking brake switch (brown one), one is for ground (black one), and three more - red, blue and yellow. In instructions the manufacturer says that red is for +12 V, yellow is for ignition key + 12V, and blue one is for ACC +12V. SO, if I got it correctly, red must be under voltage all the time, blue must be under voltage when I put the key on "I", and blue only when I give the contact, (when the lamps on dashboard light up). Is that correct, or not?
Also, I have 7 wires going out from ingition, can anyone tell me which one to connect to which, on 90 civic hatch. Any pictures please....I tried to figure it out with multimeter, but could not get it right, help!!!!

thanks 97grnrs....
So, on the your link it says (for a '90 civic) that 12 V constant is white wire with black stripe, ignition 1 is black wire with yellow stripe....but what about ACC 12 V wire...what does that stand for?....

ACC = accessory. like your radio.
are you sure you want to dig into your wiring harness to install something that is basicly useless?
get a multimeter to double check every single wire before you solder it up.
you are soldering it arnt you?

Yes, I'm soldering it, and have a multimeter.
So, if the wiring diagram from the link above is correct (for a 88-91 civic), i must connect it as follows :
constant 12 V wire form turbo timer to a white wire with black stripe
ignition 1 wire from turbo timer to a black wire with yellow strip
ACC 12 V wire from turbo timer to yellow wire
PLEASE, check the link above and correct me if I got it wrong ,and tell me is this correct...THANKS A LOT!
