you splcie them innto your ignition line in the steering column.. the group of wires comnig off your ignition switch. should be pretty thick guage wire.

the wires are labeled where they come out of the ignition key switch. If you pull off the steering column cover you will see it. There should be something like BAT, IG1, and IG2, but I can't remember exactly.
No, not at the ECU. You can tap into the wires directly at the ignition switch or from the fuse box.
If you are talking about using the A/F function on the Apex'i unit then yes, you tap into the O2 sensor wire at the ECU and use the ground for it at the ECU, but other than that there is nothing else you need to get from the ECU.
Oh, and I am assuming you know that there is a wire that goes to the parking brake.
Did you get a manual with that thing or what?

No, no manual. I donloaded it but I have yet to print it. i have been reading other posts and trying to figure it all out so when i read it, it will all make sence and there will be no frustration. I understand to draw the ignition from the steering column. The o2 was going to come from the ecu harness.
Do I have to use the ground from the ecu or can I use another grounding source?
Also, where will I tap the wire from the parking brake? do I need to remove the shroud around it and tap into the wire connecting to the switch on the parking brake lever itself?
Sorry to sound like such a newb. I just have learned to familiarize myself with the parts and methods before I get started, otherwise, i will run into something to delay me

don't worry about it man I like helping.
I don't know for sure if you can ground somewhere else and a ground is a ground I think, but just do it at the ECU. Look at an ECU pinout diagram for your specific ECU.
For the parking brake set-up, just splice into the wire that runs from the parking brake. This isn't necessary though and the timer will work fine if you don't do this. All this does is if the brake is lowered while the timer is counting down the car will shut off, like an "anti-theft" thing.

aghh ic. Would you happen to have a wiring diagram for a b18b, obd I ls ecu?
I beleive that is a P75.
If you have a wiring diagram as well as a pinout diagram that would be awsome!
I also have to hookup my uego and planned to do all of this tomorrow.
