Default Help! Hondata box LED flashing

I was driving around and suddenly my car died on me. I look down at the interface box and the LED keeps blinking. Is there a way to reset the Hondata and will the same map be on it when it's reset? Would appreciate any help.

Take the negative battery terminal off. But it looks like you may have a problem with the ecu or interface box.

A flashing LED usually indicates a EEprom communicaton error.. When you turn your ignition on, your interface box runs a diagnostic with the ECU.. If it can not make communication, it will blink and set a CEL.. If you are running larger injectors, your car will usually not run in Limp Mode, because when the ECU falls back on the Primary ROM, it will hold injector duty cycle based on OEM injector size.. Larger injectors will fall very rich..

First check to be sure that your 4 wire ribbon cable is connected at both ends.. then go to the fuse box under your hood, and pull the 7.5AMP "Backup" fuse for a few secounds to "reset" any error codes you accumulated.. If you still have a blinking light, than either your ECU has dumped, or your interface has Dumped.. you will need to swap around a few things to know for sure which it is..

Hope this helps..
