Help in GSR HEAD build!!!
Power Goal: At least 500+ horse power
Finding parts to build a 95 Obd1 Gsr head. Recommended Sites Anyone???
Brands I'm considering: Supertech, Skunk2, and Crower
Valves: Stainless or Nitride? Benefits???
Springs: Which one of the three (SK2, Crower, Supertech) would work best w/ stock GSR cams?
Retainers: I've heard stainless last longer?
Valve Guide: Bronze or OEM?
All the help is appreciated? And also if you know anyone selling their head, have them pm me!

I too think whom ever is going to machine it should help you pick the parts..unless it is a local machine shop that does not really know the difference...but then again, you probably don't have much to gain by doing so.
Thanks,
I've actually been looking around for a while, but those were in my price range. I'll contact some of these shops to see what they recommend. I actually got my block from import builders, so I shouldn't have a hard time with them.

I'm actually building the head out myself. Been doing it for a while but never got any aftermarket parts for it. It's true that some machine shops don't really know the difference. I guess it's whoever wants to buy their products. Thanks.
