the car 1996 hatch with b20 with b16 head with supercharger. tune with chrome with p28. the problem is that when the car is rolling with my foot on the clutch or in neutral it idle at 1000rpm, but when the car comes to a complete stop, the idle drops down to 300 to 500 and works its way up or it will die sometimes. when the weather is hot it will die at a light and it takes a long time to start. it like it out of gas
my fuel pressure is 40..........
its not the throdle body..........
could it be my MSD igh..........
or my MAP.........

 

its more than likely the tune. In chrome there is a option for the ECT corrections. There is one that deals with static position and one that deals with moving.

the tune shop said it was my msd ign. could that be the problem i spent a lot of money on the msd and the dino tune ... how can i tell if its the msd ign. i dont want to go back to stock then grt it tuned and that not the problem

 

Raise your moving idle, i haven't tuned in a while but that should help the problem.

 

he would want to move the idle speed vs ECT or at least just take a look at it. Or you could just adjust the idle screw on the throttle body a little bit. Does you idle while sitting eventually idle up or not? because you could always just idle it up a little bit

 

his idling around 1000rpm which is fine. When he gets off the gas his idle drops to low which is because of his moving idle is set to low. I had the same problem, years ago. Raising his moving idle should solve the problem.

 

its a type R and the hole is still cover up

 

the idle will go up but sometimes it dies

 

it only idle only drops off when the car come to a STOP then it try to go to up

 

You see the picture the above poster posted? The highlighted portion on the left side says Idle speed, click the one that says idle speed (moving) and raise the first column to 1600.

 

is chrome & chrome gold any different...... i guess mine is chrome gold ...........
