Help with a d16z6

Default Help with a d16z6

Hello all, Im new to this site and I have a few questions about the d16z6 engine. I currently have this engine in my 94 civic ex coupe. Unfortunate the engine is seized. How it got that way I have know Idea. I tootk thr head off and found water and oil mixed in the # 4 cylinder. Do anyone know what my have caused that. The oil in the oil pan is pretty clean. I bought thr car of some dude as it is. Anyways ,What's the best turbo setup to use on a d16z6. Hp goal 220whp. Are Ebay turbo set up any good

Sounds like the motor got flooded if it has that much in it. Could be that the headgasket blew and it got in, or the sleeved cracked some how. Lots of things can cause that problem.

I think the motor ran hot, that's why it seized up. Can it me savedor what's the worst case senario. I poured some royal purple oil in the cylinders to see if this would help the crank turn over. Also can a non vtec 1.6 block work with the d16z6 head without any mondification, like tapping a whole in the block so that the vtec solenoid can get oil
