HELP!!! Car just bogged out and turnned off.
Ok i have a built gsr motor, sleeved pistons rods ect... AEM EMS. I was going around a right hand turn shoulder getttin on the highway with a half tank of gas. Im assuming it went to one side of the tank, as soon as the road got str8 i wait a second and go to get on it in 3rd. Running fine until about 7,000rpm and 14psi. It girgles makes noise and bucks hard like it ran out of gas. Like daaaamn. I go to hit the gas and im pretty sure that when i noticed the motor was off, then i smelled a nasty burning smell for like 2-3 seconds then it was gone. Pulled over and car wouldnt start and its back at my house now. Nothing damaged in the bay that i notice, took the plugs out and layed #1 on bare metal and it sparked when it shouldve i guess. But it DID spark. Let it sit 4days did compression test on ice cold motor with forged pistons ( bigger clearence) the #S were 175 181 187 173..... 9:1 pistons. When i have all the plugs out and crank the car, im personally nor is my friend SEEING ANY FUEL GETTING SPRAYED when looking down into the combustion chamber. I CAN hear my sx pump prime and my defi fuel pres. gauge shows about 45psi while doing it. SHOULD I SEE FUEL GETTING SPRAYED. Did ALL 4 injectors take a **** at the same time? The burning smell? I dont know boys, help me out here.
i agree but wtf went bad wrong in my wiring, i dont see ne wiring fucked up, this is what i get for driving a race car everyday, NICE, more input please, could going around the corner got ne air in the fuel lines then the air hit the injector and siezed them up or some ****?
had a similar problem with my ls-t my fuel pump primed and everything but it wasnt pushing constant some how it fucked up i pulled the hose off at the fuel pressure regulator and it was pulsating so i changed the fuel pump and worked great
