Default help with boosted cx

my friend just finish boosting his cx. everything is stock. and he has a tdo4 with oped downpipe. he says it boggs and he feels a difference but not a great difference. i told him after new injectors, fuel pump fmu and fpr. it should run better. what are ur thoughts as to why his car feels like this?? remember everything is stock. fuel pump, injectors, not fmu, and its a cx with a vtec head but its not hooked up. thanx

I'm no turbo guru but if the head isn't hooked up then bogging wouldn't surprise me. What does surprise me is that it runs with the head "not hooked up."

Have him install and hook everything up correctly, then come back here if your having any problems.
Don't expect an answer when his **** is half assed.

i went for a turbo shakedown cruise w/o the vtec hooked up on my Z6. it sucked. hooked it up and it didn't suck. it's like honda designed it that way.

mini-mes are NOTORIOUS for having a BOG to them without propper tuning. He needs to get it tuned and hook up the vtec. should see some good results.
