$2k was totally hypthetical... very tempting... but it would not be all up front... i would have to live frugal all winter and save up month by month... very tempting though ...

For starters if you do decide to build your motor.....get it sleeved maybe overbore to .83 mil get some stronger rods and forged pistons, that way you'll be able to boost more, depending on what kind of management system you run.
