help!!! another crank pulley thread : /
I cant find a good answer to which crank pulley to go with ... I'm stuck between ATI super damper or brand new oem itr crank pulley .... i don't want to spend almost 400$ on the ATI yet I don't want it to mean the destruction of my 7k$ motor : / ... all help is appreciated
In my opinion spending that bit extra on a good harmonic damper is good insurance. I wouldnt run a 7K engine without one... Its cutting corner's in my eye's.
You can always wait a little longer and save up some more cash for the tune. The world isnt going to end in the next few months.

sorry half asleep thought i was reading and typing ctr lol. yes the N1 pulley is junk the itr pulley is regular but tATI is the way to go

I have one on my car and I know the feel of tryin to maneuver your way around things to the the car finished. Turbo-LS said it right in saying the OEM will work fine but the ATI will be better. What are the specs of the engine?
Motor is Aebs sleeved , 83mm 9.7 cp pistons, manly turbo tuff rods , clevite bearings and thrust washers, port and polished head , manly valves , supertech turbo valve springs, billet 6262 ported s shroud turbo
Nice!! Very similar to my build. Main difference is that im running 84mm bore and ACL bearings. I also have the ATI harmonic balancer
I actually just got mine running last week and havent got a chance to get it on the dyno. The car feels really really healthy tho. I run an A1000 pump and ID1000 injectors last year which is the same as what im running this year. I think if I was to do it again I would run a dual Bosch 044 setup and ID2000s.
