Default Help afc hack pros, 3 bar map question

Ok, I recently bought this car that has a afc hack on it and I am trying to figure out wtf is going on with their wiring. There is a 3 bar map tied into the stock map wiring and the map isn't hooked to vacume at all? For the car to run properly the pressure has to be set at 14in and 10out. Can someone explain what exactly is going on here and the purpose of this setup. It has a p73 in it with a 02 simulator, the car is a 96 dx with a 00 si swap and greddy kit. Just trying to figure out if I need to take off the 3 bar or what. I beleive there is a short cuz it will act up sometimes, when it does, it won't idle, or take gas, like its falls on its face the more pedal you give it, just went out and played around with the connections of the maps and it cleared up so I will probably rewire that **** soon, bunch of butt connectors goodness, lol. Any and all input will be appreciated, thanks.

you are only going to need a 3 bar if you are running more than 10lbs of boost after that the afc cant trick the ecu anymore because it goes past a certain voltage and throws a code

go to apexi.com and check the wiring diagrams and make sure everything is good

also it should be 06 in and 06 out.

what correction % do you have setup?

if you are running less than 10 than try removing 3 bar and hooking up the map sensor to its origional position w/ vaccume
