Help/Advice with axles and LSD
Hey guys whats up.
Some of u know about my current buildup. Its a fully sleeved/built turbo LS/VTEC. I'm going to be installing it soon. Its goin in my 99 si. My goal is around 400 on pump gas....500+ on race gas. Only problem: I still have stock axles and a stock b16 trans. I realize that if i bolt on some big slicks these axles are gonna break in a sec. Do u guys recommend dss axles?....or is therye anything else out there thats a little more affordable and just as good? Also should i bother swapping in a Quaife? I dont plan on seeing the track a whole lot....i just want a reliable FAST street car. Just dont know whether its worth spending the extra money on this stuff.
any input is greatly appreciated

the stock diff is weak point in Honda trannies(i think) so a quaife is a must imo, especially w/ as much power as you plan on making. the quaife should also reduce the incredible torque steer your gonna get.
