HELP!!!!
ok...
i've been having problems with my turbo LS...
i changed the head gasket...and my turbo is spitting oil into the down pipe...i did a compression test...and here are the results:
#1 120lbs
#2 180lbs
#3 165lbs
#4 160lbs
so something is wrong with cylinder #1....would a cracked ring or piston be my oil backing up in the turbo problem??? also...when i take off the oil fill cap...light blue smoke comes out...also when i take out the PCV valve...the same happens...can this all be caused by a cracked piston or ring??? in cylinder #1???

Re: HELP!!!! (LsTurbo91)
your turbo is prolly have blown seals, that is the reason why you're spitting oil, alhtough bad rings can cause it as well...
take your car for a spin, and have someone follow you...a smoke while accelrating is def a crack rings/ringlands...
but from the way you describe it, yes, you prolly toasted your rings....
