Default HELP!!!!

ok...

i've been having problems with my turbo LS...

i changed the head gasket...and my turbo is spitting oil into the down pipe...i did a compression test...and here are the results:

#1 120lbs
#2 180lbs
#3 165lbs
#4 160lbs

so something is wrong with cylinder #1....would a cracked ring or piston be my oil backing up in the turbo problem??? also...when i take off the oil fill cap...light blue smoke comes out...also when i take out the PCV valve...the same happens...can this all be caused by a cracked piston or ring??? in cylinder #1???

i was running around 14lbs...i believe...i had no gauge and my Hondata shuts off at 15psi..so i was around that prolly...hehehe...i'll learn i guess...plus the motor had it fair share of beating on it...

so is the turbo good?

your turbo is prolly have blown seals, that is the reason why you're spitting oil, alhtough bad rings can cause it as well...

take your car for a spin, and have someone follow you...a smoke while accelrating is def a crack rings/ringlands...

but from the way you describe it, yes, you prolly toasted your rings....

it wouldn't be the turbo...he said he has smoke coming out of the valvecover (oil-filler cap) and the pcv valve grommet...has to be the rings/pistons...
BTW, why did you change your headgasket? Could it possibly be that you really fucked that up?

nah..head gasket is fine...doesn't loose any antifreeze and it smokes blue...NOT...white...and i changed the head gasket cuz it WAS smoking white and puttin antifreeze out my downpipe and turbo...

all i was asking is if a BLOWN piston or rings would make oil backup in my turbo...would i not let the oil return back to the oil pan...thats all i need to know..thanks alot for all your help guys!
