Default Heat Shield

Anyone on here run any kind of heat shield on there intake and compressor side of the turbo? I know there is turbo wrap that is made for that. But if you look at GN's they have an aluminum type can that fits around the air filter and is then fed thru a fender mount or so. I am going to try this project and if successful I will post them up here for you to gander I never hear or see ppl doing this with these cars so I want to be somewhat a first for it. It should make a pretty noticeable difference with the reduction in heat, especially here in Texas.
