Default Heat Rap for drag 3

Is this important for the drag 3 kit on a LS? I was told to get heat rap to rap around the down pipe or intercooler pipeing.

Dood if i were you I would freestyle wrap the downpipe only. lol. Freestyle wrapping the charge piping will cause the hot air to be trapped inside the pipe and then the outside air cannot cool the piping since you have it covered up.

You might be able to get away with wrapping the intercooler piping from the turbo to intercooler, but not from the intercooler to the throttle body. Give it at least some time to cool down.

OK so just wrap the down pipe? Yeah all Im wanting to do is keep the hot air from the down pipe away from the inercooler pipeing since there kinda near each other.
