Default Hear me out...

Alright I know I'll probably get flammed for what I'm about to say, but I've thought about it and I want to know what you think. I really want to turbo my h22 4th gen Accord, but my money situation isen't all that great at the moment, but I do have the resources to get the ss kit of of Ebay.
Now before you flame me, I know about they're reputation and have heard both sides, but this is what I plan on doing. Since I will only be running a low amount of boost on the stock frm sleeves that the h22 has and since I can't afford a great quality kit right now, I think I might go ahead and boost with ssauto.
My reasoning behind this is that in the future I do plan on building my motor up i.e resleeving, rods, pistons....ect, and even if I do get a good quality turbo kit right now, I can't afford to do anything to the motor, so I will still only be able to handle about 8lbs of boost with a good kit or with an ssauto kit. So I get the ss kit for this summer upgrade my fuel pump and injectors and get a good tune and when I start making some good income that's when I will get a good kit or even a custom kit and build up my engine.
Why get a good kit now and put a whole bunch of miles on it when I can only run low boost? Why not get a cheaper kit run it this summer and wait? Does this theory make sense to anyone?

do it right the first time, what happen if something breaks? which will happen. if its your daily and something breaks then you'll have to wait til get it fixed. you get what you pay for. you'll be wasting more money piecing another kit in the future

I would do it right the first time, if I had the money to build up my engine. Why put the extra miles on a good turbo setup when it might be a while before I get more power out of it?

If you dont have the money to fix it, then dont boost it.

If you have the money to buy a shitty kit, spend it on Education.

What do you mean to fix it? There's nothing wrong with anything.

Its the weight of the turbo and the material they are made of that causes them to crack. ok i asked you to read it..
now the hard way
so no not fix it now but fix it once it cracks
i was in the same boat

believe me I see your point. ss autocrap is about 20 minutes from my house I bought one of their kits before I discovered honda-tech. any way their kit will nickle and dime you to death trying to get the parts it doesnt come with, to complete the kit . then when you do get it on, pay someone to make a downpipe, pay someone to tune it,--------it cracks, and hey look at that , the turbo is leaking oil(even though it has a -3 line and a function 7 restrictor) then you **** money away trying to weld------for it to crack again. so then you buy a new manifold from a reputable company, and guess what------ your downpipe dont fit no more. then you pay someone to make a downpipe again, then you go drive it, and it runs like **** because you turbo spools at a different rpm now and needs to be retuned again. GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.----- OR THEY GET A NITROUS KIT FOR $500 TO HOLD THEM OVER TILL THEY GET A GOOD TURBO KIT.
trust us we speak from experience. you might as well put your money in the toilet and flush it.

ok you can buy the kit, hate it and buy another kit later. to me that makes no sense. take the loot you have now, build the engine. then buy a quality kit once and be done.

how about you save up, and get something thats legit? like they said do it right the first time, you might not have next time. a low budget build always sounds like trouble to me, but thats just my .02cents...whatever you do, goodluck
