Default headwork on turbo engine vs. N/A engine

So I send my head-off for some porting for $1200 on an N/A setup, get 25 whp, and this is a big deal.

With a fully-built motor & a fat turbo, how much of a difference are we talking about with headwork?

just trying to figure out if its worth it.

Headwork is less import on FI motor. If you want to touch anything just get the exhaust done alitte. But i would save the money and put it somehwhere else. Just cram the air through.

So you are saying the gain will equal, less or more?

25 whp is great when you are making 180, but not really worth it if you are already making 450.

All depends on the porting done. You don't do the same type of porting for NA that you do for FI. Very similar to why you don't put an aggressive stage 3 NA cam in a turbo setup. The 2 play by very different rules. If anything, I would just get the head cleaned up, remove any burrs/casting remants, hot spots, etc. Nothing too aggressive.
