header wrap---how cool does it stay?
i know header wrap is meant to keep the internal temps a little lower, but how about outer temps?
the reason i ask is because i am wrapping my full reaar exhaust section with it becuase it goes under-tank...
just to be safe u know?
i was just wondering how much the headerwrap keeps the OUTSIDE temps (like touching it)

the purpose of header wrap is to keep the heat inside the exhaust pipes..the hotter the exhaust gases are the faster they will flow so it acutally can give you a small amount of power.. you can wrap it a few times over if you really need to keep something else from getting hot..
