headwork always helps on a boosted car in my opinion. For your power goals though, I would maybe just do a mild port job and like a 3 angle valve job. When I was making 329whp on my first turbo setup that's all I had done.

Most definantly. I'd upgrade the valvetrain because I really enjoy spinning mine to 9k-10k rpm.

We are talking about a vtec head right?

No, its definately not necessary for 300whp. It would be nice to do some springs and retainers like the guy from above said. Just to be able to rev it a little higher once your turbo.

No head work what so ever is needed for 300whp. Dual springs you can do but not nessesary at all. Im running ctr cams with stock gsr valve springs to 8200 on 16 psi boost with no issues at all. stick with all stock if your goals are low. Keeps cost down and reliablity up. Thats my opinion anyhow

Peak HP is around 7800 but i'm still making over 500whp at 9000rpm. I don't ring it that high every day its only there when i need it. rev limter is set at 9400 but the motor has seen 10000 before.

I'd throw some valvetrain in it. Stock port heads are good for a ton of power.

You think Honda's can't make power up there?
