Default Head stud installation question

I need to find out if some info a mechanic i know gave me is accurate. I plan to install arp head studs into my boosted z6. The mechanic said i don't have to remove the head and disturb the headgasket if i remove and replace each stud one at a time. Is this true or has anyone ever done it that way? Let me know your experience guys, THANKS!

you can reuse headgaskets but its not recommended, of course its not recommended to reuse rings but ive done it twice with no issue and made lots of power.

anyways, MAKE SURE TO DRAIN YOUR COOLANT before attempting it but i'm betting you would be fine even if you did them all at the same time instead of one at a time. But if theres a question just do one at a time.
