if you need help taking a head off and on... you shouldn't even be attempting to install a block guard

^^^^ x2

Haynes manual will show how to remove a head, but I would take it to a machine shop and have them put it in or just not run a block guard.

you also need a bore and hone and cause install of a block guard distorts the cylinders a bit..

block gaurds do not strengthen the cylinders at all

what it might prevent is cylinder walk (float) but thats about it.

man i made 598 on a stock gsr block thats totally stock with no gaurd, and that motor has 40 passes on it and is still alive.

e85 is one of the best ways to keep a stock motor togather it really is a great fuel to run
