Which to use B16A2 or B18C1 head?? Which will be better with head work?? Which will be best with no work??

Build B18C1 shortblock, turbo.

 

anyone ever get the flow numbers for the B series heads like I asked about? CFM numbers.....

Come on! Surely they must exist!

the b16 casting flows better.

But after porting, it really doesn't matter.

 

A while back, I remember seeing a post by ImportReview about which is the better head. According to what I read, (I might be wrong, my memory is bad.), the GSR Head did better than the Si/TypeR head. I forgot what was the reason, something about being more direct and better for turbo use.

*Disclaimer: I know there are actual model names out there for heads, unfortunately I do not know them off the top of my head.
