Default Have an SMC question!!

Ok....I've been running the V-AFC for over a month now and I'm PISSED as hell about the Code 13 BARO sensor keeping me from tuning this shiet....so.....is this GUARANTEED to get rid of my code 13? I am running the stock 99-00 Si computer (P2T?) I would switch to this in a heartbeat if it will get rid of the Code 13....I'll be ordering one instantly if it will....

Depends on two things:

1. What boost are running? Including spikes?
2. What's the highest neg percentage you are running the VAFC?

Answer that, I we can tell you if the SMC will fix it.

I'm running about 8psi at most and I'm running -40% across with 440cc injectors

No spiking ever....at least not yet....I wouldn't care if when it spikes it gets a Code but as long as it is steady and able to be tuned....that would be fine...I read somewhere that it gets rid of the Code 13 so...just asking

NE1? Need to know before I can move ahead....I'm really looking for someone who has run either a greddy blue box of V-AFC hack and switched to this and had the Code 13 Go Away...but any info from Zip himself or a rep would be awesome...I'm just looking for confirmation.

Anybody? I just can't get rid of it...tried again today but to no avail...it's fine as long as I don't "Get on it" but as soon as I do....and it has nothing to do with boost....trust me.....the CEL pops up. It did this with and without the turbo with my settings at -40% so....I'm thinking it's that...

Where is your IAT sensor? I heard from some si guys that by moving the sensor back to the original position clears up that code among others.

I have it sitting right before the throttle body. Could that still give me probs? It should be pretty normal...remember this happens when stock except 440cc injectors at -40% also. Thanks for the reply. Well~ stock except for using the charge pipe as a CAI....hehe.

The internal logic circuitry of the SMC eliminates the CEL13 code.
