after nearly 3 weeks of being off the road, the hatch is getting put back together tonight. The motor is built and sitting on an engine stand waiting for a couple buddies to show up to help me throw it in. teaser pics and progress updates soon to come.

by the way, the build is as follows:

d16a6 block, notched for bigger rods and bored .020 over
block guard
Eagle rods
SRP 9.5:1 pistons
micropolished crank
OEM bearings
y7 head, ported and polished
ARP head studs blahblahblah
delta 272 cam
skunk2 intake mani
exedy clutch, steel light flywheel (can't remember how much it weighs)
ex trans
annnnd, the same turbo kit that was on the stock y7 for now (ported hf mani, .48/.54 t3, greddy fmic and charge piping, turboXS RFL)
i know there is some stuff that i left out, but thats all that i could think of off of the top of my head

soon to come:
topmount mani, GT30r, tial WG, 3.5 in dp to a cutout, 2.5" pre intercooler, 3" to the throttle body.

when i get sick of that setup, i'm going to finish my pmtr

 

yeah. mines been down for a month already for a complete rebuild. god knows how long the machine shop is gonna keep it. the only thing that keeps me sane is the fact that it will be fast and people will be speechless when it roles out for the first time and they here vrrrrmmmmm PSSSH! lol good luck

yeah, i'm happy that i'll be making more power than i was before, but i already have my next setup in the works this is just to get me by


boost withdrawls are real, i'm fiending for it.

yeah. its my dd as well. it has sucked bummin rides and walkin. im gonna be on 10lbs on the street and 18-20 at the track. plan on purchasing a methanol injection kit next week to compensate for the 90 octane **** gas we have in new mexico. ******!

well, she's alive. I drove it up to the gas station on the conservative tune that i made, and it ran extremely well. I may make a video, but i'm not going to beat on it too much for the next 500-1000 miles, then the boost goes up to 16psi for the street

its funny cause the local tuner, had a 600 whp integra, and hes been down since 01 also...

 

I have only been down a month, but it was only up for 2 after a year of down time. I am glad its not my dd. GL
