Has anyone seen something like this??
I recently boosted my stock B20-VTEC and drove it untuned (REAL STUPID, I KNOW). As a noob to boost, I couldn't help myself. I really only beat on it for like 1 day which was enough to mess it up. Anyway on the way home late one night I decided to hit it alittle on the open highway and around 6-6500 rpms I noticed alot of smoke coming out the exhaust and I immediatly let off and slowed down. After a few minutes I started to notice smoke and burning oil fumes coming from the vents and the floor board. I got it home and saw oil all over the engine bay and the dipstick was gone. I then checked my plugs and noticed oil on my plugs for cylinder #3. I cleaned them up and started the car and it had that mis-firing sound (Like a WRX) and alittle smoke was coming out the exhaust. I turned it off and did a compression test and got 90 in cylinders # 1,2, and 4. I got like 5 in #3. I then took the head off and this is what I saw. The head looked fine so where is the rest of my piston?? I think it might have been detonation but I'm not sure. Any thing will help, thanks in advance.

Yeah you right!!! Ok one thing tho. My car smelt of gas but my A/F gauge was pinned on Lean. I even checked my engine to make sure if I was leaking fuel and not mistaking it from the exhaust. Also could I have damaged my valves even tho they look fine.

Wait until you look at the side of it.It will be spectacular.Usually it won't hurt the valves, but there will be some melted aluminum on the exhaust valves and port.

haha i did the same **** before in my old motor on a hack, blew the dipstick and all and smoke into the vents in the car, pistons looked just the same as yours. Make sure you take the turbine housing off the turbo and check the wheel cause its a possibility that piece of your piston went out your manifold and into your turbo, when mine went it also took out the turbine wheel too, but all 4 of my pistons looked way worse than that

Yeah I drained the radiator and the block before I even took the valve cover off.

Yeah I couldn't see anything. There is alittle bit more deposits built up on my #3 exhaust valves but nothing unusual.
