I only ask b/c there is a metal on metal rattle coming from what sounds to be the blower. I took the belt off (supercharger belt) to prevent it from spinning to see if the noise was still there. I figured with the belt off and the pulley not spinning, that would let me know if it's an internal problem. It still made the exact same noise and I was stuck putting a belt back on. Oh well.

It is a metal on metal vibration noise and is getting worse very rapidly. I haven't driven it since I noticed it yesterday. It gets worse just sitting in my garage and idleing so I don't want to get it on the road.

Every bolt is tight. I went through with a buddy and we both checked EVERYTHING. I thought maybe a loose bolt could maybe be the culprit but no luck.

If the blower was loose on the manifold I could see this same noise from vibration but there would most likely be a horrible vacuum leak so that can't be it. All the pulleys are tight so that's not it.

I have never heard of the internals of the blower being bad so I am really stumped here. Any suggestions???
