It would be lots of money for not a lot of power. Since you are in the honda world, might as well work with the best motors you can. That is, vtec motors. B series if you can.

For all you nay-sayers. STREETWERKZ JRSC'd non-vtec SOHC.
Still waiting to be tuned and dyno'd, but walks S2000s all day long as it is.
Vid @ 5psi. His new setup will be tuned at 10+psi.

fly bys dont do me or anybody justice. you can make a metro look fast in a fly by. They should have vids. pulling with other cars. Maybe after the a good tune, like you stated, since i could hear the rough idle

That would help people guage speed more accurately, sure. But Mr. STREETWERKZ isn't much for street racing, and going through the gears on an empty street ALONE is all he's willing to do apparently.
Besides, the video isn't meant to show that his CRX is super fast, because obviously it isn't. It's just meant as a preliminary vid, just to get it out there. Otherwise he'll just wait until it's tuned and dyno'd.

I saw a 94 dx coupe at the track one time with a supercharger, and he ran consistent 15.3's at like 91 mph. He ran several times I think maybe 4 times.

Re: has anybody ever rain a jrsc on a d15b7? (drintegra)
yeah i saw Tads on here a few times. I think last i heard he was running hte JDM D15 VTEC. I liked that setup, i got the jrsc for like toxic waste cheap, planned to sell and get another car, but i cant afford it right now. I figured I might as well enjoy my civic while i can and slap it on. I know I shouldnt expect to be super fast, but i just wanted a ballpark of how much power to expect or what times i should see..for sure though it'll make my dx way better than when it is now. just wanted to find out how much though..

Re: has anybody ever rain a jrsc on a d15b7? (G2 Speed)
my friend had a CRX Si with a JR supercharger a while back. It probably had around 160 horsepower at the crank. He had a lot of fun with that car and it sounded really cool. I wouldn't do it if you are hunting for a lot of power. A small turbo could make more power and be almost just as responsive at the same amount of boost.

I make fun of people for wasting money on a supercharged b-series motor, so slapping a S/C on a SOHC would be even more retarded lol...
Superchargers belong on RWD V8's, not hondas... One reason is honda's traction problems and another is the powerband on a honda, which is high rpms. A S/C will do a honda no good in those areas. It's been proven a turbo kit setup properly will outperform a S/C kit in every way anyways, so I don't see a point unless your doing it for a fun show car. A custom S/C setup that can actually perform is a different story though, but the majority of people will have basic JRSC kits.

Re: has anybody ever rain a jrsc on a d15b7? (beerbongskickass)
like i said, i came up on it for super cheap, and i planned to re-sell it, but i figured if i wanna make my car kinda faster, this wouldnt hurt. im not asking if i should use it or not, its simply bolt on, and a friend of mine can give me a good reliable tune. i'm not looking to get a 13 second hatch or anything, just some extra power..
hopefully put my hatch in around the low 15s.
