you have to get a wastgate elbow to fit a tial 38mm because the opening is close to the motor too. but it spools fast, and i doubt it is going to break anytime soon.

Re: (jimmyizcool)
I'm about to use one. Does anybody know the size of bolts for the wastegate and the manifold to turbo size.
I know the rev hard bolt size doesn't fit.
Anybody?
Thanks in advance

just take the manifold to homedepot or lowes and search their bolts for ones that fit. Thats what i did for my set up atleast w/no problems

m8x20 for a tial wastgate. 3/8 for the turbo, length depends on what turbo you use.

Re: (inthad)
From my reading it seems that LS blocks can have the wastegate straight off the manifold and any vtec heads need an elbow.
Make sure to go with a 5-bolt turbo housing!!

Yes LS motor no need for the elbow, but with a b16 head i had notch/sandd own the head /valvecover to get it to fit well, and the hood closed no probelm for me (99 hatch)
*****and you dont need a 5 bolt housing, standard garrett 4 bolt housing fit as well*****

i think he means if you're keeping a/c it won't clear because the turbo sits the other way..compressor will hit the block
