Harmonic balancer/crank pulley?
I am wondering what the best harmonic balancer is for a 600whp integra.
I have heard ATI or Fluidampr are both respectable parts.
Does anyone have any more information that than? What size diameter is the best; Larger or smaller? Part numbers for specific application?
Thanks,
Matt

There's only one size for B series applications.
I've run the fluidampr before on a turbo B series. I've only used an ATI on the Z06. Both do the job.

fluidampr is all i use. they make two different pulleys for b series. a race and a street pulley. if you drive on the street get the street version. the race pulley is really under driven and ive seen them kill a bunch of batteries.
I was thinking about the race version because I don't have a/c or p/s, but yea I don't feel like killing my battery more than I already have

I favor the ATI as it is rebuildable and can be tuned using different elastomers for your engines harmonics.
Fluidampr will dampen, but you cannot readily tune it nor can it be rebuilt. The other problem is if the fluid changes viscosity inside the damper it may cause damage or worse if the ring locks. I would use a fluid type damper on a diesel engine, not a high revving gas engine.
ATI varies in weight from 3-5lbs.
Fluidampr appears to be ~8lbs.

And even then the race version only under drives the alternator like 8% or something small. You won't notice a difference in electrical output unless you have charging system problems or a gigantic stereo system.
