Haltech, Speedpro, or Hondata?
Which one of these fuel/ignition management systems is the best? Haltech seems to be the least expensive and the data logging is included unlike in the Hondata system where it is an upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...found what I was looking for. But I do have one more question that wasn't covered. Why is speedpro so much more expensive than haltech? Dont they accomplish the same thing?
Actually they all have wideband capability. I think even the Hondata has just had wideband support added. The Speedpro actually comes with the wideband sensor and controller hardware which makes the price so high.
hey jspec... one of my friends is a dealer for hondata he will give u a good price email me at tsjag17@aol.com and i will get u the prices

Unless you like wasting money, absolutely do not buy the above bandaids to mentioned. Save that money and apply it to the stand alone.

If you were to add up all those "piggy back" electronics or band systems it would, pretty much, cost close to a stand alone. Nothing will compare to a stand alone or reprogrammable system. So, save your money, do more research on which system best suits your application&needs and get one. Back in the day I was going to get a Tec II system but procrastinated and now I have my Speedpro Fuel Injection. I'm glad I waited. I must say this is my most charished investment hands down.
This system is a little pricey but you will NEVER have to get another system for a LOOOOONG time.

I put off doing a forced induction system for 5 years because I wanted to use a stand alone. I finally found something (Hondata) which fit every single one of my criteria. To me, doing a turbo system with anything less than a standalone is just half assing it, and it's even worse when you have piggy backs which could, together, have paid for a standalone.
Thanks guys,

Which stand alone system should I get? How is everyone's experience with hondata? I'm starting to look into it now...
I guess I'm just tire of the "service pack" from JR.

I've heard lot's of good features on the Hondata if you do not want to spend the time and money to rewire you harness.
