Default Haltech E6K Install Article

I wrote up an install article detailing my Haltech E6K install on a 5th Gen Prelude. To check it out, go to the Toronto Prelude Club website http://www.hondaprelude.to and look in the articles section.

I hope it helps some people out.

Thanks for the excellent article!! I've been considering Haltech since I'm OBDII and Hondata ends up being more expensive; now I've got the resources to actually pull it off (maybe). I'll have to see if I can convince myself to drop a paycheck on one of those little buggers. Nice that Ebay makes it possible to sell used accessories for twice what they're worth, so the thing might pay for itself when I sell all my other crap.

I know it's kinda late, but is the site down? I can't seem to get in?

But anyways, I have a few questions. Would this install work for an H22a1 in a Civic? Or what would be needed to get the OBD I to work?

Thanx for any info...

The site is still up, I'm not certain why you're having a hard time getting in. Here's a direct link to the article: http://www.hondaprelude.to/articles/inst-e6k.html

The wiring to the stock harness wouldn't be the same, but if you have a transplant I would suggest replacing stock engine harness with the flying loom anyway. All the wiring would go directly to the sensors and setup would be the same.

Neverminds, I got the site to come up. Probably my sh!tty DSL that's not working properly.

But nice write up, it doesn't look as hard as most people made it out to be.
