I pulled the rest of my turbo off and my exhaust chambers are all black. It was dripping down the block! Is this normal on a brand new motor, less than a mile? It smells like fuel and it is running rich but is this to be expected? Kinda freaking out and I am still noobish on some stuff.

 

Yeah the exhaust chambers will get coated with soot and turn black after the engine has been running, much like the inside of your exhaust tip.
What was dripping down the block though??

 

I guess it was soot, it started dripping as I lossened the exhaust manifold.
