Is the h23 plauged with weak ring lands like the h22 is. I know somebody who wants to boost their h23 and I want to get my facts straight to see if he will be ok with his stock internals for 7 lbs.

He will definetly be ok with 7psi. my friend ran 11psi w/310 injectors.

 

this may be a special circumstance, but this guy sounds like he bought the computer the whole nine yards... n he got fucked with just 6psi... so be careful

Don't skimp..

I know we've all heard it and tried to follow it as much as possible. But today I learn't my lesson, wasted my whole summer with this turbo project made sure i got everything I needed for my setup including a brand new aem ems, msd 6al, new t3/t4e turbo,tial 35mm, greddy bov,etc...... Went for dyno tuning today got mid throttle all set some decent low end then started making some nice power upping the boost to around 276 at 6psi then on the 4th run excellent fuel and timing and everything...BOOM! #3 ringland gone.

A whole summer's worth of working/saving/buying/waiting wasted. I was pissed as I just wanted to run my car once at the track this year before they closed..."
