ok cool, 'cause i thought i blew my head or something..haha! thanks! how long does it smoke like that for? and will it stop smoking once it gets used to the oil?

White smoke is generally either condensation, or coolant.
It should go away after 10-15 minutes, or at least decrease. If it doesn't, then start to worry.
My car smoked like a bastard when I ran the motor for the first time, I think it had tons of condensation and cleaner and lubricant inside it. It doesn't smoke at all now.

header? you mean the turbo mani. is it just coming off of the manifold and exhaust (ie downpipe?)....it probably is oil residue that was on your hands when installing it that is burning off......when you install a brand new exhaust manifold, like the jdm ITR mani for NA setups, it burns off the coating and there is a light smoke that gets emitted from the metal....it eventually goes away when it burns all of it off! it almost looks like some sort of an exhaust leak.....tighten everything one more time and it should be fine

yeah, the turbo manifold looks like its burning off oil residue left on there and when i let it idle it doesn't smoke but once i rev it then i guess it burns oil and white smoke comes out like i just did a fat *** burn out.... ??? is it the oil burning or do i have a problem? maybe i just need to tighten the down pipe on the turbo manifold more do you think?

tough to say. most likely is residue but double check your return setup looks good. also any leaks in the oil feed / return flange etc... could cause it

It's normal. It's just burning off oil and whatever else is on the exhaust mani. If it doenst stop in a day or so begin to worry and look for leaks.

also, once the turbo is in the motor is louder, sounda sorta like straight or loose header or straight pipe, that all motor noise. is it suppose to sound like this? or quiet? you think maybe something isn't tight enough? DAYUM putting turbo on is easy but to make it run right sux !

you probably an exhaust leak if its loud.
also just drive around with it, it'll smoke a bit but eventually the smoke will dissapear.
