h22a turbo......continued
Well I had xeno come down and street tune my **** at 8 psi today and the car still isnt runnin right. The car pulls alot better but at about 4700 rpms it starts to break up, Vtec is even worse. The car will pull great and as I enter into that rpm range the ignition seems to be breaking up. I changed the rotor, cap and plugs the only thing I havent fucked with is the plug wires. My only other thought would be the distributer?

Attempt to street tune your **** Ali...
Ignition is terribly wrong...it misfires at idle and all through the rev range until severly richened up. I'm talking scary rich. At normal AFRs, this thing puked on itself hardcore.
Brought the idle AFRs down to 11.0-11.5 and it steadied out a touch. Seemed the closer everything got to 10's, the better it ran...soooooo weird.
Ali, remember we changed it to my plugs (and we never took them out before I left). They are fine...
The plugs are not the problem
The cap is not the problem
The AFRs are not the problem (although they are wacked out)
Could be plug wires
Could be coil/ignitor
Basically just have to weed out one thing at a time
