H22 Top Mount?
Maybe it was the angle in which some of the picture up top were taken.. but some of the welds looked a little nasty. The close-ups on your site look good though and also had good penetration.

i'd like to know if those cars are only for drag racing. i was planning on getting a top mount for my daily driver and tested out a fluidyne half core radiator with a 14" fan for about a week to see if it was adequate. it wasn't, after about a half hour driving and going into boost a few times my coolant temps would approach 236degrees on an 85degree day. i switched back to stock with 2 14" fans and it would rarely go over 200 and cooling down fine after boosting.
I figured even with a better fan it would still run hot because on the highway where a fan is useless and it was still going to 236 and taking forever to cool down after going into full boost.

are there any top-mounts that will clear the front motor mount and full sized radiator in a prelude? i mounted a push fan on my radiator for extra clearance but will a top mount fit at least with a full sized radiator.

I woudnt think so. you would need a civic 1/2 radiator IMO. I had problems wth clearance with my revhard log style I guess it depends on the turbo/size also

this is my winter project i have swaped an h22a into a 90 prelude thats done...now time to turbo it, will these top mounts fit and clear the front crossmembers in the 4th and 5th gen preludes? i assume civc 1/2 rad is a must.. anyone got pictures of how high the turbo sits in the bay... just wondering because the 3rd gen prelude hoodline is very low and the hood is already very close to the h22a valve cover..

If your planning on making that a street car you can't run a civic radiator. An h22 needs a full size radiator to stay cool enough.

That's not true. You'll be fine with a (dual core aluminum) civic rad.

It will run too hot, trust me, I've tried it. Using a $350 Fluidyne radiator and a 14" Spal fan, Spoon thermostat, and water wetter It would consistently run over 230F after full boost and wouldn't cool down. I went back to stock with 2 fans and saw 200F at the most. 230F is close to dangerous.
