H22 thicker head gaskets
ok I have a H22, and I want to boost it. but my compression is 11;1. I want to get it to 10;1 with a head gasket. I know this is not the right way to do this. but I just spend a lot of money to build my motor. I was going to go all motor, but I ran into a turbo kit for a good price. Cosmetic makes thicker head gaskets .027-.030-.036-.040-.045-.051-.060-.065-.071-.074-.120 but which one do I need I was thinking a .075 any ideals?

You may want to contact Inline Pro. They make a thicker head gasket for the H22. Their # is 703-455-5805 or http://www.inlinepro.com. I hope this is helpful.

It will not do you any good to use a thinner HG on a h22 because it is the ringlands on the pistons that are week and compression will not help with that!

i dont know your specs, but guesstimating the .071 will put you just under 10:1
