Go ahead and install it. When it falls about and the pieces get sucked into your engine and destroy it report back.
I'm tired of warning you people about these friggin' gimmicky POS devices that are only out there to separate you from your money. or in this case, your friends money.
Next time search HT on the subject.

People still waste their money on those? You might get 1-2PSI out of it, and the electrical load required to run it will hurt your power, as well as your full electrical system, more than that 1-2PSI will give you.

just that they claim to beable to push 5 psi which if in all actuality they could that would be great but apparently its false pretty much a cheaper way of getting power without the hassle of buying all the required componts and tuning (which i have gone trough)rebuilding a engine myself and getting crapped on my supposed tuners and tuning is deff not cheap

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with a real turbo setup. It's for people that want to take a shortcut and are easily taken in by outrageous claims.
Who TF were you going to to get tuned? Obviously NOT any reputable shops.

hahaha oh man. Ive actually done this on my old friends kia we actually used a vacum and a power inverter. it actually gained power but started chocking out at around 6k but still had more top end than stock. Keep in mind we did this out of bordom not to have more hp.

Do you have any flow information for this fan you just installed in your intake system? If it pushes less air than the engine requires at redline, you may suck it, or pieces of it, into your engine.

Why waste youre time? Free or not its not relaible or smart to put that stress on the electrical system. If youre bored with power start saving and do it the right way. This seems crazy.
Whats next? lol
Actually, Why not just route youre intake to the blower motor inside the car, then you can have a blown engine that produces Air conditioned dense air into the intake tract at the same time...its a win win....lol

Re: gte electric supercharger(leaf blower)5 psi vortex
ok so i just got back and there was a noticable diff when i was driving and hit 5k so i adjusted it to kick on at 4k and to my suprise i can deff tell when its running then vtec kicks in at 6400 i wired a switch to turn it off and on as i please to tell if it made a diff with vtec engaged and there was a little bit off diff so all in all it does give u a little more power which i am happy with but its not goin to stay on for the odvious reasons little tiny metal shards running through my engine when the (hair dryer motor)heats up and everything explodes ,it was a fun little test and works im just not a complete tool and willing to keep it on

Where in florida are you? I know a couple good tuners in the panhandle.
Get on race850.com and we can lead you to so good tuners

Re: gte electric supercharger(leaf blower)5 psi vortex
Its all in youre head....most likely it did nothing. Why would you hook up a switch to turn youre vtec on and off.?
Trying to be nice here but wiring youre Vtec to a switch, and being a complete tool are pretty similar.
