GT35R with T4 Exhaust Housing?
So, I’ve got a Garrett GT35R with a 1.06 T3 exhaust housing (and a 3” downpipe) on G35 coupe, the problem I’m encountering is the exhaust backpressure’s spiking over 550whp on E85… I was planning on having a 3.5” downpipe fabricated to alleviate some of the backpressure, but I wanted to see if I had any other options for the exhaust housing… could I put a T4 exhaust housing on my GT35R?
Thanks!

Swapping to a T4 housing is a bolt on affair for the turbo; but would require changing the manifold flange to T4 as well.
Is the exhaust 3" all the way through?

Re: GT35R with T4 Exhaust Housing?
The car has a 3” down pipe that leads into a 60mm dual exhaust. I was thinking about building a full 3.5” exhaust from the turbo back and now adding a T4 exhaust housing.
Changing the flange from a T3 to a T4 shouldn’t be a huge issue… I just need to make sure I have enough space for the T4 housing (turbo sits right below the BOV)… physically, is it significantly larger than a 1.06 T3?
