Default GT35R B20

so i'm about to get my b20 in. My goal is 350whp, there are so many different setups that i just don't know which is right for me. I was wondering though would the GT35R be too big of a turbo for a stock b20 or do i need to build my internals?

GT35 is too big if you only want 350hp. Why live with the extra lag if your never going to use half of the turbos potential? Consider a GT30 like a 3071 or maybe even a large GT28, like a 2871.

I would also look at the S256 Borgwarner for the B20 motor. You don't necessarily have to have a ball-bearing cartridge and wheel design to achieve efficiency.

yea thas true i do have a relatively low goal in mind. Today i've been researching a little more i think i found what i'm looking for; Can i get some input on the GT28RS aka Disco Potato? Also on the B20 at what point do i need to get the block sleeved?

I rarely hear anything good about the b20 block, but I have never ran one so to me that’s just what I like to call a “h-t truth” which means that I take it with a grain of salt. I would think that with the right pistons and proper piston the bore clearance the b20 should be fine at 300hp.The gt28rs should be a very fun for the street with that displacement. If your dead set on the number 350 you might want to consider the gt2871, however 300hp on the street with a gt28rs would be hard to beat for “fun factor” good luck
