Default gt3582rls from precision

i have a friend that sales me a gt3582rls from presicion its rated for 640hp. i have a friend that says that precision uses chinesse housings and wheels, and garett exhuast housings, but he says that there crap that just get the regukar gt35r from garett, is this true cause now iam scare to use this turbo, lmk people

See that nice big PRECISION TURBO AND ENGINE stamp on the exhaust housing? Safe to say your friend doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. PTE casts their own comprsesor and turbine housings, and uses Garrett CHRA's, and wheels.

i won't deny that i have heard precision does have some of their parts manufactured overseas, but nowadays who doesn't? there is a large difference in parts made in china and cheap chinese **** :cough:ssac:cough: and the difference is quality control, materials, standards, etc...Precision has it's reputation for a good reason

Correct. We have worked with many of these units and they are rated at 640hp... They are great turbo's

the exhuast housing says garett, heres a pic the one on the right is the precision turbo, the one on the left is a garett t3/60-1

PTE stands for Precision Turbo and Engine.

i feel stopid now, so the wheels and exhuast housing are from garett

yeah your right, its just people say bad stuff and others good stuff about them, i always had heard good stuff about precision in till now
