GT3540R or Precision SC53
Hey im trying to decide on with turbo i should run with? Got a 2.0ltr with 9.2:1 compression, A head that flow pretty damn good, just want to run high 300hp for DD. Run low 11's at the track.

It isnt better, its the same thing. That is like saying Honda=good, Acura=Better.
The GT relates to the family of wheels. The good thing that Garrett has is the ball bearing. But to be released by precision soon too made by garrett.

when is precision coming out with BB? Whats the reason for getting a SC61 and not a SC53?
What kinda spool can i expect? my head flow pretty good up top so. trying to get a good all around turbo.

The SC53 has a 60-1 compressor which is less effcient and flow less than the SC61. You make more power and have the same exact, if not better, boost response with the SC61 and a T350 .76 trim(aka stage 5 wheel).

Anything that we come out with will have the Garrett dual ball bearing CHRA. The only single ball bearing on the market now is the Turbonetics.
We are no longer recommending the SC-53. The SC-61 is definitely more turbo for the money at the same price.

question about the Garrett turbos?
Do they have the Garrtett making on the turbos?
Also i remember reading somewhere that HoneyWell bought them out is that right?
