Default Another SC61 success story...

Well, I tuned another car the other day with the Precision SC61. This one was an 84.5mm 9:1 gsr motor. Very basic setup really. Inline pro manifold, 3"dp and exhaust, JG edelbrock intake manifold, JG 65mm t/b, and hondata. The car made 414whp at 14psi on 93 octane and 482whp at 20psi on 114. We wanted to turn the boost up some more, but the spring in the wastegate wasn't cooperating. With the profec b and a 9lb. spring, all it would make was 20. A 15lb spring should be good for 25-30. click here for dyno

How much timing are you running at max boost, are you adjust the timing for octane?

If it isnt top secret i would love to see the ecu map, from what i have seen those numbers usually require a few more psi.

Very impressive for any E housing, even a PT...

Wow great numbers Tony!! I love seeing cars tuned up to their potential, I also like how that turbo is fully spooled up by 5500rpm with a stage 5 wheel, I used to rememmber being fully spooled up at the same rpm but with a .70 a/r housing and a stage 3 wheeled 60-1 turbo.

Another turbo I put the magic touch on. And tony putting in the magic tune.

The specs of the turbo I sold to him was:
SC61, T3 .63AR Stage 5 wheel. T04E compressor housing.
