OK... may sound like a silly post but I'm undecided...
I had originally planned on using a Precision GT32E for my stock LS motor. But, while I was looking into my wallet tonite, I realized I might be able to push for a GT30R. I was researching the GT32E but there's not much I can find on it except a GSR that dynoed 285whp/193tq @ 8psi with a nice powerband. Now... it's a stock LS like I said and I rather keep the car more responsive compared to the almighty lag I had with my SC61 before (it was on a d16 with a 2.5" dp... full 15psi @ 5500rpm). And with that said the GT32E looked to be a nice candidate (Precision rates it at 520hp at the crank, so around mid 400's at the wheels i'd guess). Now, I'm not too concerned with peak numbers, but I'd liek to make ~300whp with a decent powerband. The GT30R came into the picture because I figured the BB would contribute to the quicker reponse, while still being a suitable turbo if I upgrade motors (i'm possibly acquiring a built gsr motor in the near future).
So... I call on H-T as usual to help me out in my time of indecision. Thanks in advance.

yah I'd rather that but right now I can get good pricing on the GT30R and the GT32E, the GT28RS I can get but I'd have to call about that
there's not much difference in price between the GT30R and GT28R/S
i gues it comes down to which turbo would most suit your engine and what you hope to accomplish..!
Good luck with that...i\m on the virge of paying for my SC61 and i still dont know i that the turbo for me...

I'm going to try the 3071R on a stock H22A to see how it works with some displacement behined it - it works very well on SRT-4's. I'm no expert but it seems to be a touch too big for a 1.8L when compared to the 28RS in the 300hp range (if you want midrange).
There is a good comparison on here that was done not too long ago by 'boosted hybrid'.

How much can you get the 30r for? because my gt32e was only 585 brand new, can't really beat that. I'm on a tiny *** b16, and with open downpipe, i see full boost at about 4-4100k rpm. So the ls should bring spool down to around 3800k, pretty good powerband if you ask me. .

GT3251E and GT3255E are great turbochargers like you said. Not enough information out there for people to be buying them ... Yet
I sold mine to a guy who will be putting it on his B18b.

very true, I've been realizing that as I did my research and spoke to Rod and Patrick @ Precision. It seems to be a very good turbo, but the fact that it's a GT series and with everyone wanting to go big nowadays, it lacks popularity. Well something came up and I can't afford the GT32E right now but before the turbo setup goes on I'm definitely pushin for one
