Re: LS turbo vs. gsr turbo? (boostwhipped)
GSR will make more powre if you compare same PSI pushed into cylinders.
But its not much of a diff..., but if you want to build an all out race car where u want extract as much power as possible, get GSR.

Re: LS turbo vs. gsr turbo? (BG Boost)
so, if i'm not going full drag, then a ls motor will do just fine?
I'm going to try 25 psi
fully built motor
hoping for 350-400 horse, is that realistic?

Staying on the same topic. If the LS block was to recive 10.5.1CR pistons, how would the two blocks compare with the same amount of boost. Could the same hp be achieved or does vtec play a major role?

Re: LS turbo vs. gsr turbo? (Just2Fast)
Is this statement true? I heard that vtec motors on high boost don't produce as much power as LS motors. This is on high boost only cuz of the overlap on the vtec lobes.
Of course a turbo GSR will make more power in the 5-10psi range, but what about 15+psi? Will the LS overcome it in terms of power?
I'm on crack, aren't I? Is there any truth to this at all?

Re: LS turbo vs. gsr turbo? (shamoo)
the vtec head just flows better, get a PnP LS head it'll flow close to a VTEC header and/or better. But PnP and a VTEC head it'll destroy the non vtec head.
many pros use vtec heads to flow those monster sized turbos.
custom turbo cams are accessible.
