Default GT3071R

Trying to purcase a GT3071R from Kinitik motorsports but they didnt have the 4" 3071 housing instock or the 2.75" one. So they machiend me a housing from a T3 compressor with the 3" inlet . The a/r ratio is still .50a/r the same as a 2.75 or 4" gt housing. Is the only difference between the compressors just the intake opening size? and Not physical size or Flow?

Please repost. We're really confused on which housing inlets and outlets you're trying to use. I think what happening is that you're too concerned with the inlets and outlets and not the turbo itself.. These changes that you want don't necessarily change the characteristics you may want to achieve.

The main concern...Is there a difference between a T3 compressor housing and GT3071R housing if the A/R ratio is the same, .50A/R

What turbo is the T3 Compressor housing from? It may have a different compressor impeller even though they are the same A/R of .50.
