Gt20,GT25R,GT28RS users with dyno results
I was hoping to find dyno results off guys who have used an gt20 ,gt25r, or the gt28rs no matter what the motor or mods!
p.s there wasnt too much to find off the search thread, specially for the gt25r

its not for a specific application but rather specific turbos that are smaller when compared to the common set ups used by honda-techers!
My goal is to start a thread that others might find helpfull for there builds, cause dyno graphs are better to refer to than some guy talking on a forum, a dyno sheet is wayy more usefull is it not?
dont you hate being asked questions like what a stock b16a2 would gain off a gt28rs?

If you find it pointless why dont you just hit the back button and move on?
But I guess cluttering a thread is what most do best here!

both gt20 and 25 are too small, keep in mind if you have a b or k engine you need something that can hold power till at least 8500rpm, the GT28RS is the smallest turbo that can do that.

My first turbo on a stock GSR was a GT28R. I made 245whp@10 psi.
GT20/GT25 must be the size of a golfball. You aren't going to find many if any people that would entertain boosting a honda with something that small.

Re: Gt20,GT25R,GT28RS users with dyno results
Because I have most of the turbos you are asking about, along with dyno results for each turbo as well. I have had a GT25R on my D16, a GT28R, GT2860RS, and a GT2871R on my Integra, and I am just debating whether I'd be actually contributing in a constructive thread. Just from hearing your tone of voice though, good luck on your search

Being a jerk to one of the most knowledgable and helpfull people on this forum isn't going to win you any friends or get your questions answered.

This is Forced Induction, not Lets Make Peak Power. Most OEM's use turbos to make huge low & midrange power. Interestingly enough that's usually the area Hondas lack the most. I'm not saying T20's are perfect, but I don't see why they should be instantly dismissed. For example, I think its obvioius what the goals are for a GT22 setup - instant throttle response and good HP w/o having to always downshift.

Re: Gt20,GT25R,GT28RS users with dyno results
Hiprofile, its great that we are on the same track here,I too believe a smaller turbo would be better for a dd, but that is all preference see I aimed at low rpms cause I use country roads doing 55 in 5th gear(2.5-2.75rpm) 90% of the time and want to be able to pass slow *** truckers w/o having to down shift, see I have no experience with turbos and therefore I started this thread to see If it was a good Idea to go with something like a gt25r(Iam sure tony's got the answers)
but blinxx9900 only had good intentions and with good experiences with turbos so we got to respect that, he actually pm'ed me with reasons why a gt28rs is better which all makes sense(even though I treated him like **** in the past, trust me hes a good guy), I replyed with futher questions and am waiting for his advice which Iam sure will be very important, thanks for every1s help so far!

Re: Gt20,GT25R,GT28RS users with dyno results
What ever happens just post up your results and how you like it when your finished, and as i stated in our pm's it may not be a bad idea to start with a used turbo at first just in case you don't like it, you can find smaller turbo's off other OEM vehicles for very low prices and they still have plenty of life left in them. Or ever try finding a used greddy kit, they have pretty small turbo's. I am all for experimenting to find what you like, but try to keep the cost down so if you don't like it you still have money to try something else

Yea I agree with blinx i would totally go with a used greddy kit or something. They can pick them up complete with upgrades for 1500. Its not a bad place to start.

Thanks alot guys for your input,
Iam thinking of buying an edelbrock performer X kit with a gt28r,
they said I can always switch to the gt25r since there isnt any changes in flanges, connections etc.
tried to call up a garrett distributor to get them to confirm that, and there input yesterday but they had me waiting over 20mins on the phone and Iam calling from overseas($1per min)!
what do you guys think should I go for it? most are happy and I can easily sell the gt28r since alot of people love em, hell I think I can easily sell the whole swap,
