GSR vs. CTR cams for boost??
I'v always thought/heard that CTR cams made more HP/TQ than GSR's?! but i just read a thread where ppl actually said the GSR's are a better cam for turbo and will make for a better power band & more HP??

type-r cams. simple and very effective for boosted cars. GSR cams are only better than B16cams
CTR cams are pretty agressive. I believe Tye-r's will get what you need

yeah R cams or skunk 2 cams. R cams are nice though and you can use them on GSR springs and retainers if you keep the revs to 8.5k

ctr/itr cams rock... or skunk2 tuner 1's Mr Evans saw a 30-40hp gain on a high hp setup over the ctr/itr cams with the tuner 1s.. Tuner 1s are easy on the valve terrain, idle like stock, partial throttle drive ability is great and most of the time require no cam gear adj.

Re: GSR vs. CTR cams for boost?? (boostfeen)
i was wondering the same question about my car. currently running gsr cams in a ls/v turbo setup. I want a aggressive sound idle but not be impossible to drive on the street. are thte skunk2 stage 2's more aggressive than a R cam?
Not trying to thread jack , i was just about to make a thread about my question so i figured i'd ask since we have similiar questions. Didnt want to clutter the board

I'm pretty sure you have to keep the revs to 8400, stock revlimit, as to avoid valve float.
