hey does anyone know anything about vortech superchargers? will a gsr vortech sc work with a b16a ? there btoh a v-5 right so im guessing ya?

I just put my b16 Vortech charger on a gsr... it in a 99 honda civic si... I had to cut a few things to make it fit b/c the block it bigger than the b16

 

intake manifolds are not interchangeable from b16-gsr. b16/b18c5 have same head casting and b18c has it's own casting which is p72. so i'm guessing the super charger won't work.

 

good thing the votec supercharger dosent bolt in place of your intake then. But thanks for the info

 

I put a skunk2 intake manifold on so my b16 kit would fit the gsr

There is more to it than just the intake... the only reason u have to change the intake b/c the Gsr has the snail intakes but the brackets are different for the gsr and the b16... the gsr is about 1/8th inch bigger than the b16 so it throws your brackets off... Look trust me Ive got the b16 kit on my Gsr so Ive had to do everything
